Cross stitch chart sampler from Sajou archives - model 3

The third pattern in our series of vintage samplers, in the spirit of those embroidered in days gone by young girls.
Size of motif: 178 x 276 stitches. When embroidered on 12 count linen over two threads, this will give you a finished stitched size of 29.7 x 46cm.
To obtain the vintage aspect of this project, we recommend using natural, off-white or Sajou blue embroidery linen.
You can use Retors du Nord 2030 (red) or 2882 (sapphire). Or for an alternative, try it with our Calais cocoons in fire 6932 or cornflower 6934, variegated threads which give a surprisingly lovely result.
Attention: if you use our variegated threads, be sure to sew whole crosses and to take up the embroidery at the same place when you change threads. If you interrupt the shading, the result will be less spectacular.
