Cross stitch chart - Indiennes fabrics - Museum and Heritage Collection
This cross stitch pattern chart represents two models of indiennes (chintz), floral motifs on an off white base or a yellow base, less familiar than the red character fabrics from Toile de Jouy. It comes from the large pattern chart created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet evoking the history of Toile de Jouy at the Oberkampf manufactory.
Each motif is repetitive and can be embroidered as many time as you wish. To calculate the dimension of necessary fabric, multiply the below dimensions by the number of repetitions you wish to sew in width and height.
Dimension of motif 1: 60 points wide by 65 points high - 10 x 10.8cm.
Dimension of motifs 2 and 3: 60 x 60 points - 10 x 10cm.
motif 1: 2005 - 2302 - 2007 - 2024 - 2025 - 2029 - 2028 - 2012 - 2023 - 2749 - 2876 - 2038 on off white fabric or 2003 on mustard fabric;
motif 2: 2005 - 2536 - 2876 - 2302 - 2007 - 2024 - 2033 - 2025 - 2028 - 2332 - 2034 - 2023 - 2022 - 2749 - 2038 on off white fabric or 2003 on mustard fabric.
