Cross stitch chart - Series 2 of Bonnes Herbes fabrics - Museum and Heritage Collection
This cross stitch pattern chart represents three models of Bonnes Herbes (Botanical Plants), floral motifs on a black base, less familiar than the character fabrics from Toile de Jouy. It comes from the large pattern chart created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet evoking the history of Toile de Jouy at the Oberkampf manufactory.
Each motif is repetitive and can be embroidered as many time as you wish. Dimension of the three motifs is the same: 30 x 30 points - 5 x 5cm. To calculate the dimension of necessary fabric, multiply the dimensions by the number of repetitions you wish to sew in width and height.
This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet of paper and presented in a Sajou folder. Another pattern chart with three different Bonnes herbes motifs is also available. We also have pattern charts for Indiennes (chintz), floral motifs on yellow or white base.
