Cross stitch chart - Toile de Jouy printing - Museums and Heritage Collection
This cross stitch pattern chart represents wood block printing of Toile de Jouy. It comes from the large pattern chart created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet evoking the history of Toile de Jouy at the Oberkampf manufactory.
Size of motif: 161 x 127 points. If sewn on 12 count embroidery linen with 2cm around the motif, you will need a piece of linen measuring 30.8 x 25.2cm.
This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet of paper. It comes with another sheet “interpreting the stitches”. To get as close as possible to a “fabric effect”, you should follow certain instructions. It is presented in a Sajou folder.
