Cross-stitch chart Bonnes Herbes 1

This cross stitch pattern chart represents three models of Bonnes Herbes (Botanical Plants), floral motifs on a black base, less familiar than the character fabrics from Toile de Jouy. It comes from the large pattern chart created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet evoking the history of Toile de Jouy at the Oberkampf manufactory.
This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet of paper. Each motif is repetitive and can be embroidered as many time as you wish.
Dimension of first motif: 27 points wide by 28 points high - 4.5 x 4.7cm.
Dimensions of second and third motifs: 30 x 30 points - 5 x 5cm.
To calculate the dimension of fabric necessary, multiply the above dimensions by the number of repetitions you wish to sew in width and height.
To respect the spirit of the original bonnes herbes, we recommend you sew these motifs on black 12 count embroidery linen.

To embroider the first motif, you will need the following Retors du Nord embroidery floss: 2003, 2447, 2024, 2025, 2028, 2011, 2876, 2034, 2023, 2012, 2038, 2570, 2332.
To embroider the second motif, you will need : 2003, 2029, 2028, 2536, 2876, 2034, 2023, 2749, 2043, 2005.
To embroider the third motif, you will need : 2003, 2024, 2032, 2028, 2011, 2876, 2023, 2012, 2043, 2317, 2005.
