Cross stitch kit - Flower Hollyhock

This cross stitch kit contains all you need to embroider a stem of hollyhock derived from our spectacular Tinctorial Plants project in the Museums and Heritage Collection.
This flower (Altea rosea) can grow up to three metres high. Legend has it that it was imported from the East during the Crusades of the Middle Ages.

Size of motif: 64 points wide by 200 points high.
When embroidered on 12 count/centimeter linen fabric the finished dimensions are 10.7 x 33.3cm.

This kit contains:

• 43 x 23cm 32 count embroidery linen, colour cyclamen ;
• 11 cards of Retors du Nord embroidery floss: 2013, 2023, 2024, 2026, 2034, 2038, 2350, 2445, 2532, 2535 and 2749;
• the full colour pattern chart printed on a large 42cm x 29cm sheet of paper;
• a Sajou “Créé par moi” label (Made by me).

Presented in a lovely Sajou cardboard re-usable box.
The single embroidery pattern chart is also available. Three other kits are also available: the poppy, the dahlia and the iris, all being the same size to make a lovely collection.
