Cross-stitch chart - Iris - Museums and Heritage Collection
This iris is a cross stitch pattern chart derived from our spectacular collection dedicated to Tinctorial Plants in the Museums and Heritage Collection. This flower with the latin name of Iris Germanica, exists in a variety of colours, but the violet ones were cultivated for dyeing.
Size of motif: 81 points wide by 200 points high. When embroidered on 12 count/centimeter linen fabric the finished dimensions are 13.5 x 33.3cm.
The full colour pattern chart is printed on a large 42cm x 29cm sheet of paper with all the necessary explanations. It is presented in a Sajou pouch.
We recommend our cyclamen 32 count embroidery linen which highlights the motif. You will also need Retors du Nord embroidery floss in the following colours: 2004, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2013, 2039, 2302, 2350, 2445, 2540 and 2749. A total of 11 cards in 11 colours.
