This card contains a sample of each of the five thicknesses of our cable linen thread. About 20cm of each thread on the card. Size of card: 12 X 5cm.
Cable linen (corded linen) is twisted linen which is assembled a second time, moistened and re-twisted. This moistening prevents the linen fibres from distorting. Cabling increases the resistance, giving a nicely rounded thread generally used in luxury leather goods. It's a luxury thread which can be used for quality jewelry making, DIY...
Cable linen is available in five thicknesses and numerous colours:
- Cable linen n°332 - the thickest - 133 metres approx. per spool - Ø 0.77mm;
- Cable linen n°432 - 200 metres approx.per spool - Ø 0.63mm;
- Cable linen n°532 - 250 metres approx. per spool - Ø 0.57mm;
- Cable linen n°632 - 285 metres approx. per spool - Ø 0.51mm;
- Cable linen n°832 - the thinnest - 375 metres approx. per spool - Ø 0.43mm.
Presented on big beige coloured plastic spools.
Size of spool: Ø 4.3cm – height 5.5cm.
