Cross stitch kit - Sajou miniature album number 8 embroidered in red

These Sajou albums, embroidered with gloving thread and mounted in an accordion style, are one of the suggestions we have offered since the very beginning of Maison Sajou, 20 years ago! Until now, they had never been available as kits.

The cross stitch embroidery is worked over one strand of linen fabric with gloving thread in red, giving the finished piece a delicate, miniature appearance — a true little treasure. This project is not difficult, but we do not recommend it for beginners.
Size of finished album: 8 x 58cm.

The kit contains:

a strip of off-white linen fabric, 32 count (12 threads per cm), measuring 14cm x 100cm;
a miniature blue Sajou album number 8;
a spool of gloving thread in red (colour 525);
mounting boards: 9 thick boards (dimensions 5.8 x 8cm) and 9 thin boards (dimensions 5.8 x 8cm);
a strip of wadding, 10cm x 1m;
a strip of muslin, 10 x 90cm;
a card of ribbon from the Comptoir Sajou Collection;
a pattern chart and explanation sheet.
