Re-edition in black on cream base of the famous Travaux de la Manufacture motif, one of the most well-known Jouy prints. Designed by Jean-Baptiste Huet, this fabric inspired Frédérique Crestin-Billet to create a series of projects in our Museums and Heritage Collection. You will recognise the wood block printing, the colour fixing, or “garançage”, the painting ladies and even Monsieur Oberkampf with his son. Monsieur Huet even included himself in the scene. 100% percale cotton – 140g/m²- Width of fabric: 150cm. Repeat motif: vertical 61.8cm - horizontal 60cm. Attention: this fabric is available on maximum 10m rolls. Take this into account if you need a large amount. This fabric also has two coordinates: a noughts and crosses motif and a checkered motif. The same motif is also available in bordeaux. We recommend the following threads with this fabric: polyester n°180 or 309 or, if you prefer cotton, n°6270 or 6180. Our fabrics are also available in 3-swatch gift boxes and individual swatches 50x70cm. We take great care with our photos and descriptions of fabrics. However, appreciation of colours remains subjective and the quality can vary from one screen to another.
