Reedition of the “Drinking Trough” (L'abreuvoir) Jouy fabric, designed by Jean-Baptiste Huet around 1797. Given this title for the numerous scenes of animals drinking water, you can also see farmhands merrily drinking and dancing. Here it is brown on an ecru base and the size of the motifs has been reduced by half compared to the original design. 100% percale cotton - 140g/m² - Width of fabric: 150cm. Repeat motif: vertical 36.9cm - horizontal 70cm. Attention: this fabric is available on maximum 10m rolls. Take this into account if you need a large amount. It can be coordinated with two other fabrics: a stylish floral motif on spotted background - coordinate 1 -, and dancers from L'Abreuvoir main motif - coordinate 2. Also available in 50x70cm swatches. We recommend the following threads with this fabric: polyester n°309 or 532 or, if you prefer cotton, n°6117 or 6272. We take great care with our photos and descriptions of fabrics. However, appreciation of colours remains subjective and the quality can vary from one screen to another.
