Pure cotton fabric yellow Coromandel indienne by the meter
On a bright yellow background, this indienne is reminiscent of the old models which, in India, were dyed with turmeric. We named it Coromandel, in memory of the Indian coast of the same name where, from the 17th century, many trading posts of the different Indian companies were established. This is where the boats loaded with fabrics before leaving for Europe.
This pattern will soon be available in cross-stitch patterns and kits, as part of a new series in the Museums and Heritage Collection.
