Pure cotton fabric Queen Marie Antoinette's pineapple at the Versailles palace by the meter
This fabric is a cross-stitch interpretation of a magnificent indienne fabric called Toile au Grand Ananas, which decorates two of the rooms in Queen Marie Antoinette's small private apartments at the Palace of Versailles. These have recently been restored by Maison Pierre Frey who reprinted the fabric respecting the traditional technique of screen printing. Like many quality fabrics from this period, the main pattern is associated with a border, often used on different pieces of furniture. This border appears on each side of the pattern.
This pattern will soon be available in cross-stitch patterns and kits, as part of a new series in the Museums and Heritage Collection.
100% percale cotton - Width of the fabric 150cm - 140g/m² - GOTS certified.
Repeat motif, border included: 42.4 m in height, 150 cm in width.
ATTENTION : this fabric is available on maximum 10m rolls. Take this into account if you need a large amount.
