Pure cotton fabric Napoleon's campaign tent by the meter
This indienne is inspired by the one that decorated the interior of the campaign tent of Napoleon, the reconstruction can be seen at the Fontainebleau Chateau. Generally the tent exterior was made of white and blue striped drill, edged with red wool. The floor was covered with a leopard print rug, evoking the saddle cloths of the Emperor’s cavalry, notably the hussars. This historical indienne is exactly in the style of those printed in Jouy en Josas, Nantes, Alsace and Normandy.
