This thread is made of metal and cannot be used on a sewing machine. For sewing or embroidery, you can use the Fil Au Chinois metallic threads.
This thread is available in eight colours in this thickness, and also in 0.20mm diameter. The gold, silver and brass threads are also available in 0.60mm.
This thread is from the Lebaufil brand, a French company specialising in metal and elastic threads since 1946. In December 2015, the company was taken over by Ets. Toulemonde.
