Maison Sajou is not your ordinary haberdashery store. We do not just resell other people’s products, as most online haberdasheries do. Sajou offers products created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet, who revived Maison Sajou in 2005. A website in French and English was immediately launched, a forward-thinking step at the time. The German version followed a few years later.

A wide range of scissors for embroidery and sewing, all made in France, embroidery pattern charts and cross-stitch kits inspired by old archives and the famous Museums and Heritage Collection, based on the world of historic French textiles, tapestry kits, a stunning range of cotton fabrics for sewing and patchwork, complete sewing boxes, and many objects for the home and fashion accessories created using our fabrics and coated cottons, or based on our favourite patterns.

Fil Au Chinois threads – A complete range for all your creations

Maison Sajou also offers the world’s only complete range of Fil Au Chinois sewing threads: cotton and polyester threads for sewing, patchwork thread, gloving thread for Lunéville embroidery and appliqué, metallised threads, silk, rayon, tacking thread…
And, of course, the full range of leatherwork threads: twisted linen, waxed cable linen, polycotton and shoemaking threads.

Small haberdashery and refined accessories

Sajou also offers an exceptional choice of small haberdashery items with a wide range of sewing needles and pins, all presented in refined packaging. We have also revived the use of thread cards, both practical and beautiful.
And, of course, a whole world of ribbons, bias tape, stationery, and even a miniature haberdashery store.
