Indienne fabric swatch ecru base n°61

100% cotton.
This swatch of indienne cotton fabric measures 50 x 55cm. It's a fat quarter. It's available in other colours and also by the metre. It goes particularly well with two other motifs, n°62 and n°63. These three motifs are also available in deep red tones.

We recommend the following threads with this fabric: cotton n°6308 or 6752 or, if you prefer polyester, n°309 or 7099.

These exotic floral motifs are called “indiennes” because they are inspired by fabrics originally imported from India. This was at the end of the 17th century at the time of the grand navigation companies and the famous trading posts owned by many European countries.
