Indienne fabric swatch duck base n°41

100% cotton.
This swatch of indienne cotton fabric measures 50 x 55cm. It's a fat quarter. It's available in other colours and also by the metre.

We recommend the following threads with this fabric: cotton n°6566 or 6597 or, if you prefer polyester, n°7100 or 7535.

These exotic floral motifs are called “indiennes” because they are inspired by fabrics originally imported from India. This was at the end of the 17th century at the time of the grand navigation companies and the famous trading posts owned by many European countries.
