Indienne fabric swatch motif 8 - tea base

This fabric has a large bordeaux and green floral motif on a tea base.

This swatch of indienne cotton fabric measures 50 x 55cm, it's a fat quarter.
It is also available in other colours.
We recommend the following threads with this fabric: cotton n°6323 or 6542 or, if you prefer polyester, n°506 or 7668.

These exotic floral motifs are called “indiennes” because they are inspired by fabrics originally imported from India. This was at the end of the 17^th century at the time of the grand navigation companies and the famous trading posts owned by many European countries.
