Waxed gloving sewing thread - n°290 Café au lait - Fil Au Chinois

Gloving thread is a waxed cotton, n°120, both fine and solid. As the name states, it was used in the past for sewing and repairing gloves. Uses have changed, but the name remains the same. Nowadays, gloving thread is used for patchwork, english paper piecing and appliqué hand stitching. Gloving Thread can also be used for very fine cross stitch. It is quite stiff, making it pleasant to use.
Material : 100% cotton waxed thread.
Length on spool: 150m - Diametre of the thread: 0.31mm.
Presented on ivory coloured plastic spools - Size of spool: height 4.8cm - Ø 2.5cm.
A printed colour chart gives an overview of the 30 colours available. All colours of this thread are available ON ORDER on 1 000m cones
As with all the Fil Au Chinois threads, this product is MADE IN FRANCE.
