Hand towel in our red toile de Jouy fabric and bambou terry towelling

One side of this hand towel is made of bamboo viscose, the other side of our Jouy red Offrande à l’Amour miniature motif in 100% cotton.

One side: 90% bamboo viscose and 10% polyester – The other side: 100 % cotton.
Size of towel: 25 x 25cm - Wash at 40°C, do not tumble dry.
Presented with a Sajou label.

We were inspired by the Hankachis which all Japanese women have in their handbag or pocket: a small towel always ready for wiping hands as there are very few hand dryers or disposable hand towels in Japan. At a time when we are all more conscious about the importance of hand hygiene, we thought it would be a great idea to combine practicality with elegance, with an added touch of eco-friendliness.

Certified Oeko Tex class 1, bamboo viscose is a synthetic fibre made by dissolving cellulose found in bamboo (90% bamboo viscose and 10% polyester). Bamboo viscose is soft to touch and keeps its form even after multiple washes. It has antibacterial properties and is suitable for the most sensitive of skins.
