Tonkin is a gimped thread containing a fine lurex strand, which will add a discreet but noticeable sparkle to your embroidery. Made of textured polyester, our Tonkin thread has a slightly puffy aspect that gives it a beautiful presence on fabric. Unlike other threads containing metallic strands, it does not fray while stitching, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable embroidery experience.
