Cotton piqué plaid representing 36 Parisian monuments or places designed in red on light beige background: Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Palais Garnier, Louvre Pyramid, Moulin Rouge and even our Sajou Paris store!
Each design is in a red frame surrounded by a dotted line, and all around the edge is a small motif in blue, white and red.
This plaid is the perfect base for your imagination:
- you can simply hem the edges to make a table cloth, or line it,
- you can embroider some or all of the motifs in stem stitch, back stitch or any stitch,
- you can cut along the dotted lines and make a real patchwork,
- you can separate the motifs to make cushions…
If you want to embroider the motifs, we recommend our Calais cocoons in 6534 (red) and 6790 (blue) or our Retors du Nord floss in 2030 (red) and 2882 (sapphire).
This is a cotton piqué fabric, 200g/m².
Size of swatch: 1.56m by 1.44m.

This plaid is in the style of quilts made in the 19th century to celebrate the Universal Exhibitions and key events of the period. The inspiration for the designs come from illustrated magazines and prints from the time.
You can line this plaid with the patchwork-style percale fabric which picks up the border motif. This monument motif is also available on percale fabric.
Two series of place mats are also available.
