Cross-stitch kit Poppy

This cross stitch kit contains all you need to embroider the garden poppy derived from our spectacular Tinctorial Plants project in the Museums and Heritage Collection.
The petals from this flower, the Papaver Orientale, gives colours ranging from pink to violet.
You can discover the history of this plant whose seeds have been found in Neolithic dwellings dating back over 5000 years.
Size of motif: 76 stitches wide and 200 stitches high.
When embroidered on 12 count/cm linen, the finished dimensions are 12.7 x 33.3cm.
This kit contains:
- a 12 count cyclamen linen swatch 43cm x 23cm;
- 11 cards of Retors du Nord embroidery floss: 2005, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2022, 2038, 2317, 2405, 2445, 2532, and 2540;
- the full colour pattern chart printed on a large 42cm x 29cm sheet of paper;
- a Sajou “Créé par moi” label (Made by me).
Presented in a lovely Sajou cardboard re-usable box.
Three other kits are also available: the dahlia, the hollyhock and the iris, all being the same size to make a lovely collection.
