Much of the warmth of Chenonceau is due to the many rooms with wall coverings.
This is an interpretation in cross stitch of the Green Room, the study of Catherine de Médicis (1519-1589) where, overlooking the Cher River, she directed her realm after the death of her husband, King Henri II. This complete cross stitch kit comes from the large pattern chart evoking Chenonceau Château. Size of motif: 185 stitches wide by 130 stitches high. When embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen, the finished project measures 30.8 x 21.7cm. Size of finished cushion: 31 x 22cm. This kit contains:
- full-colour pattern chart printed on large A3 sheets of paper;
- 35 x 26cm of moss coloured linen embroidery fabric;
