As with all inhabited homes, Chenonceau Château has a welcoming smell of wax, lovely vases of flowers and is filled with furniture. And of course, there is an exceptional collection of works of art. This is an interpretation of the fabric decorating the four-poster bed in Diane de Poitiers’ bedroom, where, as the King’s mistress, she often welcomed King Henri II.
This project is derived from the large Museums and Heritage pattern chart dedicated to the Chenonceau Château.
This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet with all necessary explanations. It is presented folded in a Sajou folder.
You can make a cushion measuring 30.8 x 21.7cm with this pattern chart, or use the repeat motif for a smaller or larger project.
The repeat motif is 54 x 71 stitches which gives a size of 9 x 11.8cm when embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen. To calculate how much fabric you will need, simply multiply the dimensions.
We recommend our Sajou blue embroidery linen which enhances the details of the motif. You will also need two cards of our Retors du Nord embroidery thread in 2876.
This project is also available as a kit, including the backing fabric. Special letter tariff for this product.
Attention: the letter tariff is only applicable for certain products. The shipment costs are automatically calculated on confirmation of your order.
