This is an interpretation of the fabric decorating the four-poster bed in the Five Queens’ Bedroom.
This room is named in memory of the two daughters and three daughters-in-law of Catherine de Médicis: Queen Margot, Elisabeth of France, Marie Stuart, Elizabeth of Austria and Louise of Lorraine.
This project is derived from the large Museums and Heritage pattern chart dedicated to the Chenonceau Château.
This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet with all necessary explanations. It is presented folded in a Sajou folder.
With this pattern chart, you can make a cushion. The 185 stitch width and 130 stitch height will give a finished cushion measuring 30.8 x 21.7cm when embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen.
We recommend using our azalea coloured linen fabric to enhance the motif.
You will also need two card of our Retors du Nord embroidery floss in 2028.
This project is also available as a kit, including the backing fabric.
