The seventh pattern chart in our Museums and Heritage Collection is dedicated to Napoleon and Josephine created an authentic style, an art of living, which can be found as much in the home furnishings of their different residences as in the lavish garments of the Empress Josephine, as well as the civil uniforms of the Imperial Household.

This cross stitch embroidery project is presented in large colour poster form measuring 68 x 80cm. On the back of the pattern chart you will find historical information as well as explanations for the embroidery.

Size of motif: 345 stitches wide by 346 stitches high – Size of finished embroidery: 57.5 x 57.8cm.
This embroidery represents around 295 hours of work.

The kit contains:

the large 68 x 80cm poster printed on matt paper;
a 70cm square of bark-coloured linen fabric;
nine 14 cm linen squares: 1 x moss, pale yelllow, black and scarlett, 2 x off-white and 2 x pearl grey;
35 colours of Retors du Nord embroidery thread : 2001, 2004 x 3, 2005, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023, 2024, 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2032, 2033 x 2, 2034, 2038 x 2, 2180, 2234, 2266, 2302, 2340, 2405, 2469, 2535, 2570, 2749, 2876;
one card with metallic thread N°15 colour n°122, silver.

Presented in a large box covered with one of our Sajou blue colour paper. Size of the box: 21 x 21 x 9cm.
