This rectangular blue cushion to embroider in cross stitch is taken from our spectacular pattern dedicated to Chenonceau Château from the Museums and Heritage collection.
The decor on the large fireplace in the Louis XIV salon consists of a salamander and ermine, the symbolic animals of François I and Claude of France. The fleur de lys is the symbol of the French kings and the H decorated with fleur de lys evokes Henri II who gave Chenonceau to his mistress, Diane of Poitiers.

This complete kit includes all the necessary, including the backing fabric:
- four 14 cm linen squares: 2 x slate, 2 x Sajou blue;
- one card of Retors du Nord embroidery thread n°2876;
- 46 x 25cm indienne cotton fabric for the back;
- a pattern chart with mounting explanations;
- a Sajou “Créé par moi” label (made by me).
Depending on our stocks, the indienne fabric may vary, but trust us, the end result will always be lovely.
Size of finished cushion : 30 x 20cm.

Presented in a lovely Sajou cardboard re-usable folder.
