Cross stitch kit - Green Room in Chenonceau castle - Museum and Heritage Collection

Much of the warmth of the Chenonceau Château is due to the many rooms with wall coverings. This is an interpretation of the Green Room, the study of Catherine de Médecis (1519-1589) where, overlooking the Cher River, she directed her realm after the death of her husband, King Henri II.
This complete cross stitch kit comes from the large pattern chart evoking Chenonceau Château.
Size of motif: 185 stitches wide by 130 stitches high - Size of finished embroidery: 30.8 x 21.7cm.
Size of finished cushion: 31 x 22cm.
The kit contains:
  • full-colour pattern chart printed on large A3 sheets of paper;
  • one 35 x 26cm of moss coloured linen embroidery fabric;
  • 5 cards of Retors du Nord embroidery thread : 2000 x 2, 2005, 2266 and 2479;
  • 35 x 26 cm 100% cotton "indienne" fabric in green and yellow tones for the back. Depending on our stocks, this fabric may vary, but trust us, the end result will always be lovely.
Presented in a lovely Sajou cardboard re-usable box.
The single embroidery pattern chart is also sold separately. A selection of smaller kits and charts from the same collection are also available.
