Cross stitch kit - Silhouette of Chenonceau castle - Museum and Heritage Collection

The silhouette of the Chenonceau Château spanning the River Cher is so easily recognisable that I couldn’t resist putting it in the large Museums and Heritage embroidery. This cross stitch cushion kit is derived from the larger model. It reminds me of the architectural designs representing the evolution of the Château over time which can be found on the first floor in the Estampes Exhibition Room.
Size of motif: 190 stitches wide by 101 stitches high - Size of finished embroidery: 31.7 x 16.8cm.
Size of finished cushion: 36 x 21cm.
The kit contains:
  • full-colour pattern chart printed on large A3 sheets of paper;
  • one 40 x 23cm of slate coloured linen fabric;
  • 2 cards of Retors du Nord embroidery thread n°2086;
  • 40 x 25 cm 100% cotton "indienne" fabric in blue tones for the back. Depending on our stocks, this fabric may vary, but trust us, the end result will always be lovely.
Presented in a lovely Sajou cardboard re-usable box.
The single embroidery pattern chart is also sold separately. A selection of smaller kits and charts from the same collection are also available.
