Cross stitch pattern chart Green room

Much of the warmth of the Chenonceau Château is due to the many rooms with wall coverings. This is an interpretation of the Green Room, the study of Catherine de Médecis (1519-1589) where, overlooking the Cher River, she directed her realm after the death of her husband, King Henri II.
This project is derived from the large Museums and Heritage pattern chart dedicated to the Chenonceau Château. This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet with all necessary explanations and presented folded in a Sajou folder.

You can make a cushion measuring 30.8 x 21.7cm with this pattern chart, or use the repeat motif for a smaller or larger project. The repeat motif is 48 x 92 stitches which gives a size of 8 x 15cm when embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen. To calculate how much fabric you will need, simply multiply the dimensions.

We recommend using our moss coloured linen which enhances this motif.
You will need four colours of our Retors du Nord embroidery thread: 1 x 2005, 2266 and 2479 and 2 x 2000.
