Pattern chart in cross stitch - Silhouette of Chenonceau castle - Museum and Heritage Collection
The silhouette of the Chenonceau Château is so easily recognisable that I couldn’t resist putting it in the large Museums and Heritage embroidery. This cross stitch pattern chart is derived from the larger model. It reminds me of the architectural designs representing the evolution of the Château over time which can be found on the first floor in the Estampes Exhibition Room.
Size of motif: 190 stitches wide by 101 stitches high. When embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen, the finished project measures 31,7 x 16.8cm. This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet with all necessary explanations and presented folded in a Sajou folder.
We recommend using our slate coloured linen which is in keeping with the style of the château and our Retors du Nord embroidery thread n°2086 (2 cards).
This design is also available as a complete kit. You will find everything to make a cushion backed with an Indienne fabric.
