Historically, Fil Au Chinois was linen thread for sewing and leather work. The famous star cards and linen balls in capsules but also the waxed cable linen thread, the ultimate thread for hand leather work.
Fil Au Chinois is also a unique range of sewing threads: all-purpose cotton and polyester threads, threads for patchwork and appliqué or Luneville embroidery, metallized, rayon, silk and multicolour, batting thread, invisible threads and polyester overlock thread.
