Embroider the Chambord Plaid with our supplies

The Chambord plaid is made with 72 linen squares and requires 36 Laine Saint-Pierre cards. Extremely fun to embroider, the colours of the threads and fabrics are highly varied, and the small squares can be easily carried anywhere, allowing you to work on them at your own pace.

Required Supplies

You will need the following materials to complete this project:

This project is embroidered in cross stitch using two strands of Laine Saint-Pierre over two threads of the fabric.

Linen Squares

The linen squares used for this project measure 14 x 14 cm. You can choose among the 28 available colours.

This mounting plan indicates the order in which to assemble the squares. The corresponding numbers are displayed next to each motif on the following images.
The dark blue lines indicate where to place the finishing ribbon.

Dimensions and Customisation

The finished plaid measures 99 x 88cm.
You can, of course, make it smaller, but also larger.
If you wish to make it larger, give priority to motifs that are embroidered two or three times.
Avoid embroidering the same motif in the same colour.

Embroidery Motifs

Motifs to embroider for the Sajou Chambord plaid: monkey, helm, periwinkle, birds of paradise, fleur-de-lys and salamander.

Motifs to embroider for the Sajou Chambord plaid: cornflower, eagle, leopard, stork, four leaves, coat of arm, sphinx, stag and H.
