Cross stitch kit - William's Feast - Museums and Heritage Collection

This complete cross stitch kit comes from the large pattern chart created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet evoking famous Bayeux Tapestry. It represents William's Feast, an episode which is not on the large pattern chart.
Size of motif: 264 points 67 points. If sewn on 12 count embroidery linen: 44cm x 11,5cm.
The scene presented here: after landing on English soil at Pevensey, William’s armies prepare a feast. Two servants have suspended a cauldron, and above, what appears to be skewers. Another servant is busy in front of an oven with flames billowing out. Two servants pass through a portal (probably a requisitioned manor). Four cavaliers use their shields as a table. Beside them, Bishop Odo gives grace to a table covered with dishes. In the centre, a servant brings a new dish with a small bow.
This kit contains:
  • full-colour pattern chart printed on a large 60cm x 29cm sheet of paper;
  • one 70 x 25cm piece of 32 count embroidery linen, colour sand;
  • 9 Laine Saint-Pierre cards in following colours: 422 x 2 - 450 x 2 - 648 x 2 - 762 x 1 - 845 x 1 - 930 x 1;
  • a Sajou “Créé par moi” label (Made by me).
Presented in a lovely Sajou cardboard re-usable box.
The single embroidery pattern chart is also available.
In our Madame Sajou diary section, you will discover the secrets behind the creation of this chart, the second one in our Museums and Heritage collection.
