Large plaid to embroider in cross stitch with Alsatians in traditional French costumes.
This project has been inspired by our Farandole Alsacienne cotton fabric.

Despite the overwhelming size of this masterpiece, it is relatively easy to embroider. It is sewn on 12 count natural linen and the 15 colours contrast sharply. For an experienced stitcher, there are roughly 600 hours of embroidery.
Dimensions of motif: 660 points wide by 660 points high - (when embroidered on 12 count linen: 110 x 110cm).

Everything is included in the kit, including the fabric and two spools of thread for lining the project. The only thing you will need to buy is the batting, which we recommend to strengthen the plaid. The mountins is explained in detail in the kit and you will find a video showing how to easily sew perfect angles on our YouTube channel.
This kit contains:
- 140 x 140cm of 12 count natural embroidery linen ;
- 150 x 150cm of 100% cotton backing fabric, which is our coordinate n°1 from our Farandole Alsacienne fabric collection;
- 47 cards of Retors du Nord embroidery floss n°s 2004 x 10, 2005 x 4, 2012, 2016, 2023 x 5, 2024, 2032 x 4, 2034 x 5, 2037 x 2, 2038 x 2, 2223 x 3, 2317 x 2, 2405 x 4, 2479 x 2, 2536;
- a Sajou « Créé par moi » (Made by me) label;
- two cotton thread spools: 6100 and 6835;
- a full colour 7 pages pattern chart and explanations.
The fabrics for this kit and pattern chart are presented in a beautiful square box. The 50 cards of embroidery floss come in a separate box.
