THE CHATEAU DE BRETEUIL
The Château de Breteuil is set in the outstanding Chevreuse Valley Nature Reserve. The gardens of this 400 year old château are in typical French style: the courtyard welcomes visitors with noble geometric beds; in the garden, water mirror, topiaries, straight alleys and bush mosaics are reminiscent of the 17th Century. This gives way to a more natural, English-style garden, an invitation to a delightful botanical stroll. Discover throughout the seasons exceptional trees, rhododendron beds, peony shrubs, Japanese cherry trees on an undergrowth lined with cyclamens.
