Dampierre pattern Museums and Heritage cross stitch collection
Warning: Last items in stock!
This cross stitch pattern chart represents the Dampierre motif, a fabric once printed at the Oberkampf royal manufactory, today the Toile de Jouy museum.
Size of motif: 94 x 69 points, which when sewn on 12 count embroidery linen measures 15.7 x 11.5cm.
The motif is repetitive so you can sew it as many times as you like.
To calculate how much embroidery linen you will need, multiply the above dimensions by the number of repetitions.
You will need our Retors du Nord embroidery floss in the following colours: 2620 (pearl), 2529 (gold), 2405 (orange), 2033 (gladiola), 2469 (rosewood) and 2005 (black), 2022 (larch), 2876 (agate).
This full colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet of paper.
It comes in a Sajou folder.
This motif is one of four that we have chosen in collaboration with the Toile de Jouy Museum for a range of haberdashery items which you can find in the Sajou for the Toile de Jouy Museum Collection.
It comes from the large pattern chart created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet evoking the history of production of Toile de Jouy.
This motif can also be found on our Dampierre motif round box to embroider model.
