Tortoiseshell style Dressmaker's thimble

Multi-faceted tortoiseshell style thimble.
This thimble is made exclusively for Sajou. From the same collection as the tortoiseshell style embroidery scissors, it is inspired by the style of Charles X and is a replica of those found in the delightful sewing boxes of this period (1820-1830).
It is a marvellous collectable item that can also be used for small sewing works.
This thimble can be assorted with our tortoisehell style thread winder .
It comprises ten facets, one of which is engraved with the name Sajou. The assembling of the four different components is, in itself, a veritable technical prowess.
Its' form is a truncated cone with a base diametre of 1.5cm
Presented in a little floral motif box. Design is subject ot avaibility.
Other versions, mother of pearl style, onyx style, ivory style or horn style are also available.
