Two Oberkampf indiennes motifs to embroider

This cross stitch pattern chart represents two models of indiennes (chintz), floral motifs on an off white base or a yellow base, less familiar than the red character fabrics from Toile de Jouy. It comes from the large pattern chart created by Frédérique Crestin-Billet evoking the history of Toile de Jouy at the Oberkampf manufactory.

This full-colour pattern chart is printed on two large A3 sheets of paper. Each motif is repetitive and can be embroidered as many time as you wish.
Dimension of the first motif is: 60 x 65 points - 10 x 10.8cm.
Dimension of the second motif is: 60 x 60 points - 10 x 10cm.
To calculate the dimension of fabric necessary, multiply the above dimensions by the number of repetitions you wish to sew in width and height.

If you want to respect the original indiennes, we recommend you sew these motifs on either off-white or mustard colour 12 count embroidery linen.

It is presented in a Sajou folder.

To embroider the first motif, you will need the following Retors du Nord embroidery floss: 2005, 2302, 20072024202520292028, 20122023, 27492876, and 2038 if you embroider on off white fabric or 2003 if you embroider on mustard fabric.

To embroider the second motif, you will need: 2005, 25362876, 230220072024, 203320252028, 2332, 20342023, 2022, 2749, and 2038 if you embroider on off white fabric or 2003 if you embroider on mustard fabric.

Another pattern chart with a large indienne motif is also available. We also have pattern charts for Bonnes Herbes (botanical plants), floral motifs on black base.

This motif can also found on our Coquecigrues motif round box embroider model.
