The n°532 Fil Au Chinois waxed cable linen thread has a diametre of 0.57 mm. Each spool contains 50 grammes, approximately 250 metres of thread. It is the average thickness and one of the most commonly used sizes.

For harnesses or leatherwork that will be exposed to humidity, we recommend using our waxed polycotton threads or our waxed polyester threads, which will withstand the test of time without rotting.

Waxed linen is best reserved for leather goods, jewellery, or model making projects that will not be exposed to bad weather.
