Glossy Tonkin thread assortments in boxes of 12 colours

Available in 24 colours, Tonkin thread is a gimped polyester yarn enhanced with a fine strand of gold Lurex, giving it a unique and elegant sheen. Its slightly puffy texture makes it particularly enjoyable to work with. Unlike other metallic threads, Tonkin does not fray, even during long embroidery sessions.

Our Tonkin thread assortments are presented in two themed boxes, each containing 12 colours:

  • Box of 12 vintage tones: subtle and elegant shades, perfect for refined and classic embroidery.
  • Box of 12 modern tones: bold and vibrant colours, ideal for dynamic and contemporary designs.

These assortments allow you to explore the full richness of the Tonkin range and add glossy accents to your embroidery projects, whether traditional or modern.
