Sajou Collection of spectacular projects
Welcome to our collection of spectacular cross-stitch masterpieces!
Since the founding of Maison Sajou in 2005, Frédérique Crestin-Billet has always made it a priority to offer cross-stitch creations that combine technical rigor with refined aesthetics. These pieces, often long to complete, stand out for their rich details and beautiful designs, guaranteeing an impressive result, worthy of the heritage embroideries of times past.
The first emblematic piece of this collection, the Chambord Plaid, was created in 2007. Inspired by the theme of the Middle Ages, it remains to this day one of our most beloved works. Over time, we have enriched our range with monumental embroideries in our Museums and Heritage Collection, each telling a chapter in the history of textiles and highlighting unique craftsmanship. In this collection, you will find motifs inspired by Toile de Jouy, the famous Bayeux Tapestry, the history of Maison Sajou, the Château de Chenonceau, Dye Plants, Versailles and Marie-Antoinette, Napoleon and Josephine, as well as indienne patterns.
These creations are not only embroidery projects; they are true masterpieces that pay tribute to the treasures of French heritage. They are designed for passionate embroiderers seeking a creative challenge and a work of art to admire, pass on, and cherish through generations.
