In this particular period our normal embroidery classes have been suspended, but rest assured they will resume in September and we will welcome our enthusiastic students and teachers back to Maison Sajou!
Until then we are offering an exciting series of beginners sewing workshops that will introduce the basic skills of sewing. The workshops will be led by Elisabeth Rozec and Rebecca Devaney to combine sewing expertise and creative design. The workshops will inspire and encourage you to use the enjoyable craft of sewing to add cheer and beauty to your summer dinner parties and picnics with fabulous handmade napkins, table runners, bunting, cushions and picnic accessories. The theme is Indian Summer and using beautiful Maison Sajou printed cotton fabrics, each workshop will introduce a new sewing technique to develop your skills while learning how to design and create mood boards, colour schemes and fabric selections.
After each workshop you will leave with a gorgeous finished piece, ready to use in your own home to brighten up your summer! The workshops will be in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere as we encourage you to become a confident and creative sewing pro. All workshops will be in French and English, with free instructions and patterns given for you to continue your sewing adventures at home. Safety measures and social distancing will be in place in line with government recommendations to ensure your comfort and safety at all times.
