Retors du Nord embroidery floss

Retors du Nord is the emblematic embroidery thread from Sajou. Made from 100% long fibre cotton, it has a smooth and shiny finish. Presented on cards containing 20 metres of thread, it is easy to use and avoids wastage. This thread consists of four separable strands. Generally, two strands are used for cross stitch on Aïda fabric or linen. For traditional embroidery, which is more varied, you can use one strand for fine details or all four strands to quickly fill larger motifs.

Laine Saint-Pierre embroidery wool

A mixture of wool and polyamide, this thread was originally used for darning. It is still used for this purpose and is perfect for visible mending. We have found that its lovely matt finish gives a fantastic effect for all types of embroidery.

Tonkin embroidery thread

This textured polyester thread contains a strand of lurex, giving it a subtle sparkle. It can be used on its own, generally with two strands, or combined with other threads to create a unique result.

Rochefort thread for embroidery and jewellery

This two-tone or multicoloured thread has a cord-like structure, making it ideal for couching stitch. Made from Dralon, which has a wool-like texture, it is also excellent for making bracelets and jewellery, as it does not pill and dries quickly.
