The Rochefort thread is a very original gimped thread, which means it is made up of different strands with another thread wound tightly around the exterior. This unique construction gives it a corded appearance that is both robust and elegant. Made of Dralon, a synthetic fibre with a wool-like texture, it does not pill and has the added advantage of being fast-drying.

Available in 24 colours, Rochefort thread is offered in:

  • An assortment of 12 vintage tones: timeless and subtle colours ideal for refined creations.
  • An assortment of 12 modern tones: vibrant shades perfect for dynamic and bold designs.

Use it for: making jewellery, especially with beads; creating Brazilian bracelets; scrapbooking and a variety of crafts.

This is also the thread we used for the hanging loops in our Christmas ornaments and decorations.
