Postcards on the theme of haberdashery, fabrics and embroidery

In addition to our classic haberdashery items, Maison Sajou is committed to creating a whole world of products inspired by the charm of old-fashioned shops. Our postcards are among our most iconic creations, featuring reproductions of vintage Sajou documents, antique thread labels, and illustrations evoking embroidery, needlepoint, buttons and the countless “notions” once displayed on the shelves of novelty stores.

Our collections are organised by theme: vintage albums, cross-stitch charts, petit point tapestries, notions, or even Maison Sajou’s universe by colour. Each card is beautifully printed, either with a matte or gloss finish depending on the design, and many of the sets are presented in lovely reusable Sajou folders. Some are reproduced from our own archives, others are entirely hand-painted in watercolour to celebrate the world of our brand.

Some of these postcards represent our favourite images: doll’s hospital, embroidery class, Alsatian goose woman, ladies with hats, tightrope walker, the famous Sajou girls, vintage labels for ribbons, thimbles, thread labels…
In short, all this wonderful world of notions that we love so much.
