The Empress Josephine was so passionate about roses that she assembled an impressive collection in the Malmaison Chateau. She went as far as to sew them on her dresses.
This fabric represents watercolour interpretations of the roses with their indicative names: Souvenir de Joséphine, Empress Josephine, Redouté’s Proliferation, Belle Hélène, Souvenir Malmaison…
The roses are quite large, 10cm on average.
The ecru base of the fabric is the natural cotton colour.
100% percale cotton - 140g/m². – Certified GOTS.
Width of fabric: 150cm.
Repeat motif: vertical 50cm - horizontal 70cm.
Attention: this fabric is available on maximum 10m rolls. Take this into account if you need a large amount.
