I would have loved to design the silhouette as seen from the front on arriving at Place d’Armes, but what with the pavilions on the sides, the recess of the Marble Courtyard and the chapel on the right, it was difficult to obtain a recognisable result. So you will have to make do with this view of the facade from the gardens. Above is an interpretation of the logo used in the visual identity of the Palace of Versailles, a black band surmounted with a sun using a typography called “Apollo”. This chart is taken from our spectacular pattern dedicated to the Palace of Versailles in the “Museums and Heritage” collection. The embroidery depicting the Versailles Palace is the sixth in this collection. This full-colour pattern chart is printed on a large A3 sheet with all necessary explanations. It is presented folded in a Sajou folder.
Size of motif: 200 stitches wide by 100 stitches high. When embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen, the finished project measures 33.3 x 16.7cm. We recommend using our off-white coloured linen and our Retors du Nord embroidery floss n°2005 (black). You will need two cards. This design is also available as a complete kit. You will find everything to make a cushion backed with a Sajou fabric.
